As the leaves start to turn golden and the evenings grow crisp, we invite you to gather with us this November for a celebration of food, music, art, and generosity.
From November 2–7, 2025, Caledonian Horticulture will be hosting a very special fundraising event in support of Leuchie and Balanced Horizon: the Arts and Experiences Charity Auction and Autumn Feast.
This week-long event brings together the best of East Lothian’s community spirit. It’s not just about raising funds it’s about connection, creativity, and reimagining what it means to care for one another.
A Feast for All the Senses
On Friday, November 7, we’ll gather at The Barn at Harvest Moon, East Lothian for an unforgettable evening. Guests will be treated to a vibrant feast prepared by local culinary experts Jo’s Kitchen and Sri Lankan Delights. Whether you love beautifully presented bowl food or crave the spice and warmth of authentic Sri Lankan vegan dishes, you’ll find something that delights your taste buds.
Of course, no autumn gathering is complete without music and dancing. After dinner, the bar will be open, the band will strike up, and the dance floor will come alive with the joyful rhythms of a traditional Ceilidh. So, bring your appetite, your friends, and your dancing shoes. This is a night designed to lift spirits and celebrate community.
The Online Auction – November 2nd – 7th
The festivities begin before the feast itself, with our online auction opening on Sunday, November 2. Running throughout the week, the auction will feature an incredible range of items and experiences generously donated by local businesses, artists, and supporters.
You’ll have the chance to bid on:
- Luxury getaways and holiday escapes
- Unique local experiences you won’t find anywhere else
- Original artwork by talented artists
- Indulgent treats and one-of-a-kind treasures
The online auction will culminate in a live finale during the Autumn Feast, with selected items being auctioned in person on the night. It’s a chance not just to take home something special, but also to support two local charities making a difference.

Why We’re Fundraising
All proceeds from the Autumn Feast and Charity Auction will go towards supporting Leuchie and Balanced Horizon.
At Leuchie, individuals and families living with neurological conditions such as MS, MND, Parkinson’s, and stroke find respite, care, and community. Through short respite breaks in East Lothian and outreach services, Leuchie helps people not only to rest and recharge but also to live with dignity, connection, and joy.
Caledonian Horticulture, are a long standing community first company based in East Lothian, and huge supporters of Leuchie and Balanced Horizon, their generosity and support has been a huge contributor to enabling Balanced Horizon to be where we are today and alongside Caledonian Horticulture, we are proud to stand with Leuchie and raise funds to support both Leuchie and ourselves.
